Memo to B.J. Upton:
You are not Melky Cabrera, or even Brett Gardner, as you've proven with an outstanding play. Certainly you'll understand my inability to offer further praise, given that you're the opposition, but your play has been duly noted.
I've spent enough time pontificating about baseball in general and the Yankees in particular (especially when the vagaries of loving a team that doesn't ever seem to love me back get to me) that I decided the time had come to further pollute the blogosphere.
The title sounds like some sort of right-wing political blog, but you'd be wrong on both counts. I just left my heart in Section 31, Box 323 of Yankee Stadium...the real one, that is.
